Job Description:
The Rental Leasing Consultant will be responsible for assisting potential tenants in understanding and enrolling in our innovative Rent-to-Own program. This program is specifically designed to provide a pathway to homeownership. The consultant will be the primary point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them through the application process, property selection, and leasing agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective tenants interested in the Rent-to-Own program.
- Explain the benefits and details of the Rent-to-Own program, emphasizing its unique features such as interest-free financing and building equity through rent payments.
- Conduct initial consultations to understand clients' homeownership goals and financial situations.
Application Process:
- Assist clients in completing the Rent-to-Own application, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with the internal team to review applications and issue Letters of Intent with approved purchase amounts.
- Guide clients through the pre-qualification process, ensuring they understand each step and its requirements.
Property Selection and Leasing:
- Work closely with clients to identify suitable properties that meet their needs and preferences.
- Coordinate property viewings and provide detailed information about each property.
- Assist in negotiating lease terms and finalizing the Rent-to-Own Agreement.
- Ensure clients understand their responsibilities and the terms of the lease agreement.
Customer Service:
- Provide ongoing support to clients throughout their Rent-to-Own journey.
- Address any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction and assist with any issues that arise.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on leasing activities and client progress.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in real estate leasing, property management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Islamic financing principles and interest-free financing models is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the Rent-to-Own model and its benefits.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with rental leasing laws and regulations required.
