Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Managing Broker. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Affordable Housing and Leasing properties, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the daily operations of the brokerage. 
  • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to agents. 
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients. 
  • Handle and escalate client issues and complaints. 
  • Review and approve real estate contracts and transactions. 
  • Oversee all operational responsibilities of the brokerage including the company’s MLS listings and all real estate transactions 
  • Ensure the brokerage and agents are adhering to all company policies and procedures and abiding by all state and national Fair Housing and real-estate laws

Education and Experience: 


  1. Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field. 
  2. Valid real estate broker license. 
  3. Extensive experience as a real estate agent or broker. 
  4. Proven leadership and team management skills. 
  5. Strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations. 
  6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  7. minimum 7+ years real estate sales or broker experience, including 3 years of management experience.  
  8. High level of technical proficiency in real estate contract knowledge. 
  9. Applicants must have HUD experience 
  10. LIHTC Certification, preferred 
  11. Must have experience in Section 8 voucher submission, tax-credit 
  12. Three years of multi-family residential management experience – minimum two years of Subsidized Housing/Section 8  
  13. Knowledge of Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") rules and regulations 
  14. Knowledge of laws and standards that apply to property management, such as Fair Housing Laws, Landlord-Tenant Laws, OSHA Standards, local and state building codes 


Salary: $100,000

Working Hours: 9am to 5pm
