Job Description:
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) with quoting experience and strong customer service skills to support our growing insurance operations.
Position Overview
The Licensed Insurance CSR will manage a portfolio of approximately 500 clients and serve as the primary point of contact for all insurance servicing needs, including renters insurance and home warranty products.
This role combines customer service, insurance quoting, policy administration, and account management. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with EZLynx and be comfortable working with multiple insurance carriers.
Key Responsibilities
Book of Business Management
- Manage and service a book of approximately 500 clients.
- Serve as the primary contact for renters insurance and home warranty inquiries.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure timely servicing of all policy-related needs.
- Monitor policy renewals and proactively assist clients with coverage updates.
Insurance Quoting
- Generate and compare quotes using the EZLynx Comparative Rater.
- Collect client information and prepare accurate insurance quotes.
- Present coverage options and explain policy benefits to clients.
- Work with multiple carriers to obtain competitive pricing and coverage options.
- Onboard new customers in Ezylynk.
Customer Service
- Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, policy changes, and claims support.
- Assist customers with policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
- Provide professional support via phone, email, and online platforms.
Policy Processing
- Process new policies, endorsements, and renewals.
- Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and proof of insurance documents.
- Maintain accurate records within the EZLynx Management System.
- Coordinate with carriers regarding underwriting requirements and policy issuance.
Client Retention & Cross-Selling
- Conduct renewal reviews and remarketing when needed.
- Identify opportunities to add additional coverage or insurance products.
- Support agency growth by assisting producers with new business opportunities.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all policy servicing activities comply with state insurance regulations and agency procedures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client communications and policy updates.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required).
- 1–3 years experience in an insurance agency or brokerage.
- Hands-on experience with EZLynx (required) including:
- EZLynx Comparative Rater
- EZLynx Management System
- Strong knowledge of renters insurance, homeowners insurance, and related personal lines coverage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
