Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Loan Processor to join our team. The Loan Processor will play a pivotal role in our organization, handling a high volume of loan files while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities
1. Efficiently process 10 to 15 loan files per month, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Review loan applications and documentation to verify completeness and accuracy.
3. Conduct thorough analysis of applicant financial information, including income, credit history, and assets.
4. Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and applicants to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any issues.
5. Prepare loan files for underwriting review, including assembling all required documents and forms.
6. Coordinate with various stakeholders to expedite the loan approval process and meet closing deadlines.
7. Maintain accurate records of all loan transactions and communications.
8. Provide exceptional customer service to applicants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
9. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to loan processing.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in loan processing or a similar role required.
- Ability to handle a high volume of loan files while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and lending practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan processing software.
